In 2002 I started exploring a concept to help people navigate the maze of land use regulations in Tulsa. Our systems and processes were confusing then and the available resources weren’t very accessible. In more than 10 years, it’s improved a little, but there’s still a long way to go before Tulsa can claim to be a leader in this essential service area.
In 2009, Mayor Taylor assembled the Land Use Education and Communication Task Force. In April I was invited to make a presentation about improving online delivery of land development rules and processes. Here’s the presentation.
